T-Ono | Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (PS3/360) Review
Added: 28.04.2013 2:17 | 11 views | 0 comments
"Ill be honest, when I think of Tecmo Koeis Ninja Gaiden series, the first three words that comes to my mind are: blood, flying limbs and ninja boobs, aside from dying repeatedly. So when Team Ninja initially tried to experiment with the magic formula that made Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 such a success, by removing the obscene, over-the-top violence and dismembered limbs, my interest in the game plummeted lower than Ayanes low-cut armor. Knowing full well that a directors cut version, would eventually be released, I waited until Ninja Gaiden 3: Razors Edges inevitable announcement. Then the Wii U version of the game was released as part of the systems launch lineup and my hype meter went over 9000."

Original-Gamer.com: "Released originally for the Wii U, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge fixed some of the issues with Ninja Gaiden 3. Did Razors Edge add enough content to warrant a disc re-release or is it just repackaging of last years game?"

Canadian Online Gamers: "For fans of the series that were disappointed with the original NG3 and havent played the Wii U version of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razers Edge this is a must buy, especially at a price point for under $30. Fans will enjoy the new challenge, casual players will enjoy the accessibility that Hero mode provides, and everyone gets to enjoy a slew of content. It might not be the A-level title fans hoped for but my only real complaint here is that I found the combat to get a little tedious, everything else is pretty good."

OXM: "More do-over than directors cut, Razors Edge can be accused of coming too late, but not of offering too little. Besides delivering the roots-respecting experience seasoned demon-slayers demanded, its brimming with enough replayability (via Chapter and Tests of Valor challenges, competitive Clan Battles, co-op Ninja Trials, and all of Ninja Gaiden 3s DLC) to keep players butchering away long after the bloods dried in the main campaign. Though we wish wed gotten this version a year ago, were grateful one of gamings best action franchises is back in business."

| Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge Review: A Second Chance for Hayabusa
Added: 19.04.2013 3:18 | 21 views | 0 comments
The original release of Ninja Gaiden 3 was not a smooth one for Tecmo Koei. Ryu Hayabusas newest adventure was met with a dichotomy of opinions that clashed between Ninja Gaiden purist and newcomers to the series. Critically the game was panned heavily by many who felt that the newest entry in the series lacked the spark and failed to reach the standard set by the series past entries. So in order to bring things up to snuff, Tecmo Koei has decided to re-release Ninja Gaiden 3 and remedy many of the issues gamers had with the original game. The end result is Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge, a much harder and fleshed out game that fans of the series will appreciate a lot more this time around.

The precision and intensity you expect from a master ninja... mostly.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is the game that fans of the series wanted and finally (most likely) on the systems they wanted it. I enjoyed Razor's Edge when I played it back in November , and now playing it on the PS3 is no less enjoyable. (As a matter of fact, I'm a much better player now, owing to having had hands on the controls before.)
